In January 2007, Sean co-founded HF Fund Services Ltd. (“HF”), a Cayman Islands-based company licensed in the Cayman Islands, to provide independent directors to alternative investment funds and investment management companies.  He currently serves as an independent director on several Cayman Islands-based alternative investment funds and investment management companies.  Previously, Sean was a Managing Director at UBS with global responsibility for all of its hedge fund administration business.  He started the hedge fund administration business for UBS in the Cayman Islands in 1992 and built it to over US$130 billion in assets under administration, establishing offices in Dublin, Toronto, New York and London.  He has served as a director for the past 20 years on Cayman Islands licensed banks, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate and private equity funds.  He has been a member of various private sector and Government committees promoting Cayman as the leading hedge fund domicile.  He has served as a member of the Cayman Government's Financial Service Counsel.  He is a founding member and former president of the Cayman Islands Fund Administrators Association.  Prior to joining UBS in 1986, he was employed with Deloitte in Cayman and KPMG in Dublin.  He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered accountants of Ireland and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from University College Dublin.

Mr. Coles is an experienced lawyer both in England and in the Cayman Islands, being a Solicitor admitted in England, a Cayman Islands Attorney-at-law and Notary Public. He was for 6 years the Attorney General for the Cayman Islands, a Member of the Cabinet and Legislative Assembly and a Government Minister having been appointed to that position on the recommendation of the British Government. He was also acting Governor of the Cayman Islands. Prior to that appointment he was the founding partner of a substantial firm of solicitors with offices in England. He has now reverted to private practice in Grand Cayman and is a non-executive director of a number of Mutual Funds, Structured Finance Vehicles and Investment and Financial Sector companies. Mr. Coles studied at the College of Law in London and is a Fellow of the Caribbean Law Institute. He is a member of the Law Society of England, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London. He also has the distinction of being a Freeman of the City of London.

In January 2007, Patrick co-founded HF Fund Services Ltd. (“HF”), a Cayman Islands-based company licensed in the Cayman Islands, to provide independent directors to alternative investment funds and investment management companies.  He currently serves as an independent director on several Cayman Islands-based alternative investment funds and investment management companies.  In 1996, Patrick founded Oxford Advisors Ltd, a Cayman Islands-based mutual fund management company.  From 1996 to 2006, he was responsible for the creation of a family of 11 funds, including a multi-manager fixed income fund, a market neutral fund of funds, and several alternative fund of funds.  He served on the board of directors of each of these companies.  He increased Oxford’s assets under management from US$25 million in 1996 to US$4.5 billion in 2006.  In November 2006, he sold the funds’ management shares to a large financial institution.

Pearse joined HF Fund Services Ltd., a Cayman Islands-based company licensed in the Cayman Islands to provide independent directors to alternative investment funds and investment management companies. He currently serves as an independent director on several alternative investment funds and investment management companies. Previously Pearse was an Executive Director for UBS Fund Services Luxembourg, providing a full range of fund administration services for a wide variety of investment products including retail and institutional funds with assets under administration in excess of $150 billion. He was a member of UBS Fund Services Management Board from 2006 to 2009.  From 2006 to 2008 Pearse established and was the Head of UBS Fund Services Canada. Under his management, UBS Fund Services Canada grew assets under administration in excess of $20 billion. Prior to relocating to Canada, Pearse was responsible for the single manager hedge fund business for UBS Fund Services in the Cayman Islands for over five years.  Pearse began his offshore career with Bank of Bermuda in Dublin, Ireland. He subsequently moved to Bermuda with Bank of Bermuda in 1997 as an Account Manager in their Hedge Fund group before moving to the Cayman Islands with UBS in 2001.  Pearse holds a degree in Business Studies majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Limerick, a diploma in Business and Finance from Staffordshire University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant from Nova Scotia, Canada.
 

Monette serves as an independent director on several alternative investment funds, investment management companies and other Cayman regulated entities. 

Previously, Monette was the Managing Director of MUFG Alternative Fund Services (Cayman) Limited, (formerly UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd) with overall responsibility for the Cayman Islands offices including US$100 billion assets under administration and 160 employees. In addition to its fund administration business, Monette oversaw the banking, trust, and corporate department that provided services to its fund of funds, single manager and private equity clients. She was a member of their Global Fund Services Executive Committee, Global Head of Fund of Funds, Global Head of Marketing, and member of the Valuation Committee. 

Monette worked for Arthur Andersen LLP in Vancouver, Canada prior to transferring to their Cayman Islands office in 2000 where she focused on the audit of hedge funds.  

Monette holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is Canadian CPA, CA. She was a founding member and former co-chair of the 100 Women in Finance chapter in Cayman.
