In January 2007, Sean co-founded HF Fund Services Ltd., a Cayman Islands-based company licensed in the Cayman Islands to provide independent directors to alternative investment funds and investment management companies. He currently serves as an independent director on several Cayman Islands-based alternative investment funds and investment management companies. In April 2007, he co-founded a representative office based in Singapore, HF Fund Services Singapore Private Limited, to serve HF’s Asian clients. Previously, Sean was a Managing Director at UBS with global responsibility for all of its hedge fund administration business. He started the hedge fund administration business for UBS in the Cayman Islands in 1992 and built it to over US$130 billion in assets under administration, establishing offices in Dublin, Toronto, New York and London. He has served as a director for the past 20 years on Cayman Islands licensed banks, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate and private equity funds. He has been a member of various private sector and Government committees promoting Cayman as the leading hedge fund domicile. He has served as a member of the Cayman Government's Financial Service Counsel. He is a founding member and former president of the Cayman Islands Fund Administrators Association. Prior to joining UBS in 1986, he was employed with Deloitte in Cayman and KPMG in Dublin. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered accountants of Ireland and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from University College Dublin.
Mr. Coles is an experienced lawyer both in England and in the Cayman Islands, being a Solicitor admitted in England, a Cayman Islands Attorney-at-law and Notary Public. He was for 6 years the Attorney General for the Cayman Islands, a Member of the Cabinet and Legislative Assembly and a Government Minister having been appointed to that position on the recommendation of the British Government. He was also acting Governor of the Cayman Islands. Prior to that appointment he was the founding partner of a substantial firm of solicitors with offices in England. He has now reverted to private practice in Grand Cayman and is a non-executive director of a number of Mutual Funds, Structured Finance Vehicles and Investment and Financial Sector companies. Mr. Coles studied at the College of Law in London and is a Fellow of the Caribbean Law Institute. He is a member of the Law Society of England, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London. He also has the distinction of being a Freeman of the City of London.

He currently serves as an independent director on several Cayman Islands-based alternative investment funds and investment management companies. In April 2007, he co-founded a representative office based in Singapore, HF Fund Services Singapore Private Limited, to serve HF’s Asian clients. In 1996, Patrick founded Oxford Advisors Ltd, a Cayman Islands-based mutual fund management company. From 1996 to 2006, he was responsible for the creation of a family of 11 funds, including a multi-manager fixed income fund, a market neutral fund of funds, and several alternative fund of funds. He served on the board of directors of each of these companies. He increased Oxford’s assets under management from US$25 million in 1996 to US$4.5 billion in 2006. In November 2006, he sold the funds’ management shares to a large financial institution.
John has extensive experience in providing corporate governance to traditional and alternative funds. He currently serves as an independent director on a number of Cayman Islands-based alternative investment funds and investment management companies. Previously, he was a Member of Kinetic Partners where he focused primarily on assisting asset management firms in fund compliance, corporate governance, and developing cross-border fund distribution strategies. He also advised a number of global fund promoters in providing oversight and compliance monitoring for their offshore and UCITS fund boards. Previously, John had established and managed a consultancy business where he was responsible for advising fund promoters on European distribution and in developing sub-advisory relationships. He had also advised fund promoters in establishing funds and selecting and monitoring service providers in a number of offshore jurisdictions. He was previously based in Brussels where he managed the European Fund Distribution team of State Street Global Advisors. He was also responsible in developing their Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) business. He had previously worked in Boston with State Street Corporation as Head of its Offshore Fund Services Sales and Marketing teams. Formerly, John established Federated International Management Limited and was responsible to growing the business to US$ 5 billion in assets under management from 1990 to 1997. John holds an MBA in International Business and Industrial Development (with distinction) from the University of Ulster, a Certificate in Investment Planning from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Pearse joined HF Fund Services Ltd., a Cayman Islands-based company licensed in the Cayman Islands to provide independent directors to alternative investment funds and investment management companies. He currently serves as an independent director on several alternative investment funds and investment management companies. Previously Pearse was an Executive Director for UBS Fund Services Luxembourg, providing a full range of fund administration services for a wide variety of investment products including retail and institutional funds with assets under administration in excess of $150 billion. He was a member of UBS Fund Services Management Board from 2006 to 2009. From 2006 to 2008 Pearse established and was the Head of UBS Fund Services Canada. Under his management, UBS Fund Services Canada grew assets under administration in excess of $20 billion. Prior to relocating to Canada, Pearse was responsible for the single manager hedge fund business for UBS Fund Services in the Cayman Islands for over five years. Pearse began his offshore career with Bank of Bermuda in Dublin, Ireland. He subsequently moved to Bermuda with Bank of Bermuda in 1997 as an Account Manager in their Hedge Fund group before moving to the Cayman Islands with UBS in 2001. Pearse holds a degree in Business Studies majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Limerick, a diploma in Business and Finance from Staffordshire University and is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Society of Management Accountants of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Prior to joining HF Fund Services Ltd., Brian was a managing director at UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd. and the head of the Single Manager Division in the Cayman Islands. Brian initially joined UBS Fund Services in 2000 and assumed the head of the Single Manager Division in 2006. As the head of the Single Manager Division, Brian was responsible for the management and development of single manager hedge funds within Fund Services Americas and had specific responsibility for a group of funds in the Cayman Islands with assets under administration in excess of $20 billion. While at UBS Fund Services, Brian was the chairman of the Valuation Committee and a member of the Fund Services Americas Management Committee. In addition to this, Brian served as a director of various UBS sponsored entities including UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd. Prior to joining UBS, Brian worked at KPMG in their offices in the Cayman Islands and Toronto, Canada where he focused on the audits of hedge funds and financial institutions. Brian has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and is a Canadian CPA, CA from Ontario, Canada.
